In 1988, The Gingerbread Factory opened its doors in a small Bavarian-themed town called Leavenworth, nestled in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State.  What a perfect setting to craft traditional gingerbread cookies and houses!  The store quickly gained a reputation for scrumptious cookies, desserts, and of course, all things gingerbread! With its charming exterior designed to look like a real-life gingerbread house, The Gingerbread Factory became a "must see" tourist destination in Leavenworth. Our little house is currently being utilized as a production bakery for our new shop. Today, we are no ordinary bakery. We specialize in gourmet cookies and amazing gingerbread houses, which we have shipped all over the US!

We are conveniently located on Front Street with tons of seating and an expanded menu to better serve you. Espresso, shakes, ice cream, cookies and a variety of foods are served in a fun, relaxing atmosphere with free WiFi! We bake throughout the day and the mouth-watering smells of freshly baked cookies, cinnamon rolls and scones will make you feel like you've just stepped into Grandma's house. We create custom orders! If you have an idea for a cookie or a gingerbread house that you don't see on our website...contact us! We'll create something unique just for you! Custom orders are not available during the holidays without prior planning. We begin receiving custom holiday orders as early as January for the following holiday season.
